Free Diving SpecialtyOur Free Diving program begins with two classes: Basic (pool only) and SSI Level 1 Free Diver. In the Basic class, you will find out if Free Diving is right for you by becoming familiar with your free diving equipment, learning a variety of breath holding techniques, and simply getting comfortable in an underwater environment. In the Level 1 Free Diving class we will take you to an ocean or lake where you can easily free dive to at least 60 ft to practice your skills in the open water. Accompanied by our instructor and a support diver with plenty of oxygen, you can apply the skills you learned in the pool to free diving at depth. Once you have completed Level 1 Free Diving, you can move on to Spear Fishing or higher level free diving classes.
